Subcommittee Charge:

The Recruitment & Retention Subcommittee is responsible for the following:
  • Monitor and administer the Associate Recruiter Program and the Health Services Applicant Placement Program for the Health Services Officer (HSO) Category;
  • Attend monthly teleconference with the Associate Recruiter Program Coordinator and Associate Recruiter Leads;
  • Present progress report at each Health Services Professional Advisory Committee (HS PAC) meeting;
  • Maintain HSO Welcome Packet; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the HS PAC Chief Professional Officer and Chair.

Subcommittee Goals:

The Recruitment & Retention Subcommittee possesses the following goals:
  • Develop and implement a program to assist HSO applicants in becoming fully commissioned as well as identify and secure Federal positions; and
  • Create materials to disseminate among HSO COSTEPS and newly commissioned officers to assist with acclimation to Commissioned Corps life.
