This award recognizes a Senior Officer (O5 – O6) Health Services Officer (HSO) who has demonstrated outstanding accomplishments and has 5 or more years of healthcare management or public health administration experience in the Commissioned Corps, of the United States Public Health Service. Nominations must include how the officer exhibited exceptional leadership ability and service, while substantially advancing the health of the Nation through innovative and strategic solutions, as well as significantly impacting the mission of the Corps. This award recognizes a Junior Officer (O4 and below) Health Services Officer (HSO) who has demonstrated outstanding accomplishments and has 3 to 5 years of healthcare management or public health administration experience in the Commissioned Corps, of the United States Public Health Service. Nominations must include how the officer exhibited exceptional leadership ability and service, while substantially advancing the health of the Nation through innovative and strategic solutions, as well as significantly impacting the mission of the Corps.
