Career Development

Committee Charge: To educate and guide Health Administrators concerning career paths and advancement. The subcommittee focuses its tasks through professional briefings, mentoring, and responding to projects that are directed and guided by HS PAC.

Committee Charge: Responsible for dissemination of HAPAG related information; maintaining HAPAG listserv; updating the HAPAG section of the HSO Website.

Membership

Committee Charge: Conducting the annual solicitation process, screening and recommending applicants for voting membership, and maintaining current membership roster.

Recruitment and Retention

Committee Charge: To stay informed of recruitment and retention needs for HSO health administrators by seeking guidance from HAPAG, the HS PAC and the Office of Commissioned Corps Operation Division of Recruitment. To function in a resource and advisory role to recruit, promote and retain all HSO PHS health administrators. To identify recruitment and retention strategies and encourage involvement of all HAPAG voting and non-voting HSO PHS health administrators. To seek and foster active participation of all health administration HSO officers in the HAPAG.
